Volunteer: Meadow Park South

Help manage invasive plants to improve the diversity and habitat quality in this community park - and along the way, learn skills you can apply at home. This event is brought to you by Friends of Minnetonka Parks, in collaboration with Minnetonka Natural Resources.

  • Advance registration is required at the blue "Register for an Event" link, above.
  • Please bring garden gloves. Wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the day's weather.
  • A few days before the event, you will receive a reminder email detailing exactly where to park and meet the group.

Community Inclusiveness

The natural resources division strives to make events and resources as inclusive as possible. Contact Christine Peterson or 952-988-8442 to discuss options. In general:

  • Sign language interpretation or language translation can be arranged upon request, for in-person workshops, presentations and other events.
  • Workshop videos are posted on YouTube, which offers closed captioning in English and many other languages.
  • Online learning modules are designed to be digitally accessible for screen readers.
  • Outdoor programs, such as walkshops and volunteer events, may vary in wheelchair accessibility. Accessibility information will be included in each event listing so you can easily determine whether an event meets your needs.
