Council introduces ordinance for rental apartment development

Although the total CIP funding remains unchanged, the amendment allows the city to move forward with essential equipment purchases that support year-round public works operations.
Council approves Forma Knoll preliminary plat
City council approved a preliminary plat with variances for Forma Knoll Subdivision. The property owners plan to subdivide the 14705 Glendale Road property into two lots for single-dwelling homes.
Council supports second phase of storm sewer project
City council accepted plans and specifications for the Groveland Storm Sewer Improvements Phase 2 Project, which will replace and upsize the storm sewer piping east of Groveland Elementary School to Gro Tonka Park. An Implementation Grant for Stormwater Resilience from the state will fund a majority of the project costs, creating an opportunity to complete the full flood mitigation project in 2025. This will reduce the stormwater flooding risk throughout this area.
