Minnetonka's water utilities were not impacted by a recent cyberattack reported by as many as 30 communities across the state. The city's water system functioned normally during the recent incident and is continually monitored for suspicious activity.

According to a statement from Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), a coordinated cyberattack targeted operational technology at more than 30 Minnesota community water systems on July 26 and 27. MNIT immediately activated the state's cybersecurity incident response capabilities and continues to collaborate with federal, state, local and private-sector partners to investigate the attack.
