The Home Energy Squad is a team of energy consultants that will visit your home and evaluate opportunities for you to save energy.

Your visit from the Home Energy Squad costs $100 and includes:

• Free installation of LED bulbs, a programmable thermostat, door and attic hatch weather stripping, high-efficiency shower heads and faucet aerators
• Inspection of your insulation
• A blower door test and thermal imaging to identify cold spots or leaks in your home
• A combustion safety test and carbon monoxide check
• A customized report with additional recommendations

Limited discounts still available

• The city partnered with the Home Energy Squad to pay for half of the first 140 Minnetonka households to schedule a visit in 2019. There are still a limited number of discounts available, but act fast!

• Home Energy Squad is provided by CenterPoint Energy and Xcel Energy and delivered by the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE), a Minnesota nonprofit. The city has partnered with the CEE to promote the program.
