Minnesota Statute 471.701 requires that "a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees."

For 2026, the City of Minnetonka’s three highest-paid positions and salaries are:

• City Manager – $257,250
• Police Chief – $221,420.16
• Public Works Director – $221,420.16
• Assistant City Manager – $221,420.16
