Radon test kits
The City of Minnetonka often has free radon test kits available for residents (one per household) on a first-come, first-served basis. Stop by city hall (14600 Minnetonka Blvd.) or call ahead (952-939-8200) to ask if any are available.
Test kits are also available at the county health department, many hardware stores, or directly from radon testing laboratories. A list of participating health agencies and test kit vendors can be found on the Minnesota Department of Health’s website.
For more information about radon and its effects visit health.state.mn.us/radon or call the Minnesota Department of Health Indoor Air Unit at 651-201-4601. Visit CanSar.org to see how radon has affected the lives of cancer patients and their families.
