The Youth Leadership Academy is hosted by the Minnetonka Police Department in partnership with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. Designed for teenagers 14-17, this program aims to empower our youth to become strong leaders in our community.

Throughout the academy, participants will engage in workshops and training sessions focused on essential skills such as leadership, communication and problem-solving. They will also have the unique opportunity to partake in discussions on important public safety issues, fostering awareness and understanding of community dynamics.

Moreover, attendees will gain firsthand insights into the roles and responsibilities of law enforcement through direct interactions with dedicated professionals. Our goal is to inspire a sense of civic engagement and instill a commitment to making positive contributions to the community.
