All of our officers use Axon Body 4 cameras while on duty. Body cameras promote transparency in every interaction, helping strengthen our relationship with the Minnetonka community.

These cameras capture high-quality video and audio evidence in real time, which can be critical for investigations, court cases and resolving complaints. Other features, like automatic recording triggers, cloud-based storage and easy video sharing help ensure evidence is preserved and accessible.

Axon Fleet is the in-car video system we utilize and is designed to boost safety, transparency and efficiency with real-time awareness features and a mobile automated license plate reader (ALPR). With live streaming capabilities, we are able to gain critical information and visibility into unfolding scenes to help direct officers and protect them from otherwise unknown threats.

Axon Fusus merges public and private cameras, body-worn cameras, drones, gunshot detection and license plate readers into one platform for real-time intelligence. By connecting views and tools into one place, we are enhancing our situational awareness, accelerating our response times and making better informed decisions in situations where every moment counts.

Axon's AI technology streamlines a variety of tasks, like transcription, redaction and reporting, which boosts our efficiency and enables us to focus on safeguarding the community. In addition to streamlining tasks, Axon's AI technology is implemented into a variety of tools, like body cameras, and can aid officers during real-time scenarios with language translation and general knowledge questions. 

To effectively manage high-risk situations, we utilize TASER 10, a non-lethal tool used for neutralizing threats. Combined with VR training for real-world preparation and body cameras for transparency and trust, TASER 10 enhances safety and de-escalation.
