The Real Time Operations Center (RTOC) serves as the central hub for monitoring, coordinating and supporting police operations as incidents unfold. Operating 24/7, the RTOC integrates advanced technology, real-time data streams and direct communications channels to enhance situational awareness and improve public safety outcomes.

By combining cutting-edge technology with real time decision making, the RTOC allows the department to respond more efficiently, strategically allocate resources and enhance the safety of the Minnetonka community.

RTOC Content

The RTOC can only access pre-existing information already in-use by the department. No new sources of data are provided by the RTOC.

Local, national and international media channels
Police radio communications
Publicly accessible social media posts
Crime dashboards
DFR video feeds
External agency information
Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) status log (active calls for service)
