The administrative services intern provides key support to the administration staff. This position is flexible, part-time. The intern is encouraged to participate in professional associations.
The assessing intern gathers field data and all appraisal data necessary to establish accurate and equitable market values. The intern performs inspections of new, existing and remodeled properties, including single-family detached, condominiums and town homes, to estimate market values, as required.
The civil engineering intern assists with the various aspects of the engineering department on a variety of projects related to construction inspection, traffic, mapping, data collection, streets, utilities and sidewalks.
The environmental health intern completes inspections and enforces codes related to environmental health such as swimming pool inspections, food operations, food vending and refuse trucks. The intern also investigates nuisance complaints and performs miscellaneous office duties.
The GIS intern works with many aspects of an enterprise-level GIS specifically applied to Public Works asset management. This role assists the GIS analyst with project specific tasks.
The police intern will assist with the patrol and detective units with duties related to the operations of the Minnetonka Police Department. This internship is 15 hours per week or 250 hours per semester.
