The Natural Resources Division manages the planning, development and stewardship of the community's natural resources. Our work is guided by the 2021 Natural Resources Master Plan and aligned with the city's strategic priorities. 

The division is responsible for:

• Urban forest management
• Natural resource conservation and protection
• Wetland enhancement and protection
• Enforcement of natural resource ordinances
• Public land stewardship
• Environmental education and community engagement through volunteerism, public events and technical assistance
