2026 Tree Sale sold out

Minnetonka’s 2026 Tree Sale has officially sold out, with residents purchasing 955 trees and shrubs, approximately 20% more than previous years.

Thank you to everyone who participated and continue investing in our beautiful forest.

This year’s overwhelming response reflects our community’s strong commitment to a healthier and more prosperous city for generations to come.

Minnetonka canopy 

Minnetonka is known for its trees, with the highest canopy of any comparable-sized city in the Twin Cities; covering about half our land and featuring preserved oak, maple and basswood forests.

Our annual tree sale helps maintain this legacy by offering residents healthy, well-suited trees at a reduced cost, making it easy to enhance your property and keep Minnetonka’s forested character for years to come.
