There’s Yeti ‘round these parts … and we need your help tracking ‘em down! 

The Great Minnetonka Yeti Hunt is on! 

Here’s how it works: 

• From Dec. 20, 2025 – Jan. 4, 2026, stuffed Yeti will be placed between the Minnetonka Community Center and Jidana Park.
• The Yeti will help you solve a riddle.
• Each Yeti is decorated with a letter of the alphabet. The total number of Yeti in the park corresponds to the number of letters on the riddle answer sheet.
• Find each Yeti, record and unscramble the letters to solve the riddle. 

How to submit

• Email your riddle answer to Recreation Superintendent Ann Davy by 5 p.m. on Jan. 4 for a chance to win a prize.

The riddle

Where snowflakes twirl in a magical band,

And candy-cane forests stretch over the land. 

A place where the season is always grand -- 

And winter dreams come to pretend.
