Offered during the summer, Camp HopTonka is a series of weekly themed camps designed to engage youth (ages 7-12) in a variety of fun, active and educational activities. Each week, campers will explore a unique theme through multiple field trips, outdoor adventures, sports, creative arts, team-building games and more.

This camp requires a two-week cancelation notice. No refund given if participants withdraw after that.

To provide convenient transportation for all camp activities and field trips, campers will travel in a 15-passenger van driven by staff.

Hop-Kids is for preschool-age children to provide opportunities for playing and learning that are fun, nurturing and safe. Our classes offer an introduction to a variety of sport fundamentals, play adventures and STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) skills taught by passionate instructors who encourage curiosity, discovery and problem-solving in a stimulating, structured and fun environment. Hop-Kids is a joint partnership of the Hopkins-Minnetonka Recreation Services and Hopkins Public Schools.

Park Adventures is a summer program for kids ages 5-11 to participate in a morning or afternoon session of fun at Hopkins and Minnetonka parks. The program includes physical activities, arts and crafts, a variety of games and more. Sessions will run certain weeks in June, July and August.

This recreational league provides a great opportunity for new and experienced players to develop their basketball skills, character and build new friendships. Teams are formed by age.
