Art displays features paintings by Julia Klatt Singer and Gail Speckmann
In the main hallway, stop and admire Julia Klatt Singer's "So Much Beauty Around Us" featuring two connected series of abstract paintings exploring perspective, distance and light through April 30.
The first includes 18 works inspired by NASA satellite imagery such as ocean currents, deltas, smoke, ice and biospheres, offering a layered aerial view of Earth from above. The second presents 15 paintings inspired by scenes closer to home along Hwy 12, including trees, birds, fish, water, wind and quiet winter moments.
Together, the works reflect how shifting perspective near and far changes the way we see color, pattern, and form, revealing the beauty that surrounds us every day.
Gail Speckmann of Plymouth is an international award winning watercolor artist, instructor and judge known for her vibrant use of color and strong compositions. She has taught workshops throughout North America and Europe and is especially recognized for her mastery of the wet-into-wet technique.
Her original paintings and reproduction prints are displayed in homes and businesses across the country. This exhibition titled "BRIGHT ESSENCE: the Glowing Pulse of Life that runs through Everything" is on display in the Spa Gallery through May 15. Learn more about Gail on her website.
