This is a City of Plymouth project that is adjacent to Minnetonka. This project includes improvements to Gleason Lake Drive and surrounding streets, Carlson Parkway, and Sixth Avenue. Improvements to Gleason Lake Drive and surrounding streets include street reconstruction, which completely rebuilds an existing street. The project will include installation of concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, trail gap improvements, and rehabilitation or replacement of the existing water main.

City Council approved the intersection concept at its Oct. 24 Council Meeting. Review the presentation here.

The City of Plymouth will host an open house to discuss the project at Plymouth City Hall on Wednesday Nov. 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Medicine Lake Room. There is no formal presentation so residents can come at their convenience to ask questions and make comments about the proposed project.

Council will be asked to consider approval of the intersection concept for Gleason Lake Road and Carlson Parkway at the Oct. 24 meeting. 

Oct. 7, 2022

City staff will meet with residents to discuss recent feedback on the proposed intersection concept at Gleason Lake Road and Vicksburg Lane. City staff from Minnetonka and Plymouth along with design engineers will be available to answer questions about the proposed intersection concept.

The meeting will be held at the southeast corner of Gleason Lake Road and Townes Road at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12. If you plan on attending, please RSVP for this event by emailing haleman@minnetonkamn.gov with the number of people in your group.
