May 15, 2025 Update

Plymouth Road will be closed temporarily at Woodbridge Trail on the north and Bent Tree Road on the south, for utility work related to the development.  Detour signs are posted.  Work will be completed by Friday evening, weather permitting. If weather prevents work, the completion date will move to Monday, May 19.

Dec. 2, 2024 Update

A site development permit was issued on Dec. 2, 2024. This permit was reviewed by and approved by planning, engineering and natural resources staff. It allows for tree removal,  site grading, installation of utilities and stormwater management facilities, and construction of the public street.

Tree removal and site grading will begin shortly and continue as weather allows. By city code, site development activities are allowed 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Proposal

Lake West Development is proposing to divide the existing lots at 2511 and 2615 Plymouth Road into eight lots. The proposal requires approval of a preliminary plat and floodplain alteration permit.
