Cable television rate regulations
Cable television rate changes are regulated by the FCC and cities have no involvement in determining rates. The City of Minnetonka is a member of the Southwest Suburban Cable Commission, and the commission’s attorney reviews rate changes to ensure they meet legal requirements.
All questions or complaints about cable television service should be directed to your provider. However, the city does help mediate unresolved complaints. If you have already spoken to your cable company and need city assistance to mediate an issue, contact IT Specialist Jeff Dulac at 952-939-8200.
